Jammie has experience in medical billing including entry of various charges for all HMOs, PPOs, Medi-Cal & Medicare, PI cases and Workman's Comp. She has been responsible for entering insurance information for new patients including verification of their benefits and eligibility.
Her job specifics have included coding the face sheets with the proper DX codes and reviewing their CPT codes for accuracy, transmitting and uploading all daily reports as well as month end reports, and assisting in posting all payments and checking the EOB's with our contracts to make sure they were paid accurately. She has also handled appeals, write offs and adjustments.
