Manage and supervise special projects.  Research reimbursement/pricing for services and update pricing structure.  Review coding practices and LMRP and recommend policy changes to ownership.   Manage and supervise new medical billing clerks training.  Managed transition and implementation of new computer billing system and procedures as well as provided in-house training to employees. Maintain contracts with insurance carriers and credentialing.  Patient liaison-handling queries, complaints and resolutions.  Attorney Liaison-managing patient accounts associated with Personal Injury cases from first date of treatment, to conclusion, including working with attorney's staff to verify policy coverage limits for treatment received, maintain Letters of Protection to ensure payments and authorize reductions of client bills for purpose of settling outstanding balances.

Medical Billing duties- Data entry of Commercial, Medicaid, Workers compensation and Auto PIP claims. Analyze, research and resolve denied and outstanding claims. Research and resolve denied Explanations of Benefits received from insurance carriers.  Post insurance and patients payments.  Manage delinquent patient accounts and prepare accounts for collection.  Research all refund requests received from insurance carriers.
