Center of Medicare and Medicaid services has released fact sheet on Medicare claim submission guidelines. The fact sheet offers billers, coders and physicians up-to-date guidance on how to file Medicare Claims. Following are some important points mentioned in the fact sheet:<\/p>\n

Timely filling of claim is one of the important guidelines mentioned in the fact sheet. Payment for any claim can only be received if the claims are received on time i.e. Claims with date of service on or after January 1, 2011 must be received no later than one calendar year from the claim\u2019s DOS.
